fakethesushi - listen/feel

For the Geomusic theme of this jam, I decided to go with a more ambient piece, with only one instrument (piano) and a subtle background synth. The main character is the bird samples, which I recorded in my hometown in NZ. I also included a recording of my bone kōauau (flute).

The piano aspect of the piece is improvisation, based on listening to the bird samples, and how I feel it would sound if I stood on that balcony. The kōauau adds an almost haunting flavour.
